Located at Kangaroo Point, Kangaroo Motel has 14 ensuited units & 2 family units which are semi contained. All our units are non-smoking. We have a swimming pool & BBQ area & off street parking & only a short walk to the gabba & brisbane river. A 24hour convenience store is within a blocks walk which also contains Subway, a bakery & newagency. The famous Pineapple Hotel & Bistro is just a two minute walk away and also, Thai & Malaysian restaurants are close by, aswell as take away (hamburgers, fish & chips etc), McDonalds & KFC, or you can order in from a large selection of home delivery available. We welcome all our guests & endeavour to make your stay an enjoyable one. |

We are located on the corner of Main and Bell Streets. South bound, we are on left hand side of Main Street just before the Pineapple Hotel. North bound, we are on right hand side of Main Street just after the Pineapple Hotel. Bus - Route 8A Main Street Stop. A $10 taxi ride from the heart of the City. A short distance to nearby train stations. |

Enjoy the cricket or a game of AFL at the Brisbane Lions homeground the "Gabba". We are located just 2kms from the Queen Street Mall in the heart of the City, great for shopping, dining or just seeing the sights of Brisbane. Just 1km to Fortitude Valley & China Town Mall, wonderful food & shopping. You can also catch an inner city bus or the rivercat to; Suncorp Stadium, QUT, UNE, TAFE and other educational and academic institutions for conferences, seminars and courses. Visit Southbank and the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Parliament House, Botanic Gardens, QLD State Library, QLD Art Gallery & Museum, and Queensland Cultural Centre. Stroll or bicycle along the Brisbane River cycle way and walkway - takes you to Southbank and ferries. For the more adventurous, try the Story Bridge climb - no better views, or perhaps go rock climbing at Kangaroo Point cliffs. Nearby entertainment includes the Pineapple Hotel, Jazz Club (located on the river) & the Dockside Comedy Club. Enjoy BBQ or picnic in the park at the end of our street or one block away on the riverside. You will only be limited by your imagination! |
