Old Leura Dairy is situated in Leura in the midst of the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains - close to Sydney, just over a one hour drive, and yet a world of its own.

Leura itself offers many attractions, cafes, restaurants, art galleries, boutique shops, bush walking activities, "hard" and "soft" eco-tourism and, for the golfing enthusiasts or corporate golfing event, we have wonderful courses just a 5 minute drive away.

Old Leura Dairy is a 4 star property that is as unique as its surroundings.

The Straw Bale house attracts much attention from our guests with its many comfortable areas, extensive use of recycled materials and reclaimed ‘treasures’ and, of course, the beautiful straw bale walls. 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms it sleeps up to 11 people.

The Worker's Cottage is the original shelter for the "workers" of the dairy. While retaining its charming, old world personality it contains all the comforts of today. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms allow comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people.

The Milking Shed - enjoy echoes of the past while luxuriating in comforts of the present. A snug hideaway for 2 in the original hayloft and a slow combustion stove all add up to a wonderful holiday. Sleeps up to 4.

The Studio is cute, quaint and cosy. This delightful little nook sleeps 2 (twin or king).

Delivering four star comfort and facilities Old Leura Dairy is an award winning Eco-Tourism Retreat, has featured internationally on Television and widespread printed media as well as extensive local coverage including the Sydney Morning Herald, the Australian, House and Garden, coffee table publications and twice filmed for Foxtel.

Getting There	A 1½ hour drive from Sydney via the M2 or M4 and onto the Great Western Highway brings you directly to Leura. As you enter Leura on the highway you reach a large blue sign indicating Leura Mall; Leura Village Centre. Take this off ramp to the top and turn right at the traffic circle (away from the village shopping centre). Then take the first left onto Den Hogan Drive (10 metres from traffic circle and it looks like an on ramp to the highway) and follow this road until you reach a fork in the road. The right hand road of this fork is Mount Street and will lead you to the corner of Kings Road. Old Leura Dairy is located on your left and fronts onto Mount Street, Kings Road and Eastview Avenue. The reception is located on the Eastview Avenue side of the dairy and the hours are variable but are generally Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. Our phone numbers are provided on your booking confirmation should you need to call us for assistance. There is a taxi rank immediately outside the train station at Leura. A three minute drive (approximately $7.00) will take you to Old Leura Dairy.
