Edward Lodge is located close to the Brisbane central business district and the night life of Fortitude Valley and Chinatown.
Public transport and the Brisbane River are only a short walk away, as is the seven-day-a-week shopping village of New Farm, with its restaurants and coffee shops. Also close by is the Brisbane Powerhouse for the Arts and glorious New Farm Park.

The Lodge itself resides within a peaceful Asian garden, which offers space for reading, mediation or quiet reflection. This relaxed lifestyle continues indoors. The subtropical decor and unique ambience of the Lodge is enhanced by handcrafted furniture from South-East Asia.

All guest rooms are ensuited and equipped with reverse cycle air
conditioning and heating. There is a modern laundry for guest use and optic-fibre broadband internet access is included in the tariff. Laptops can be used in each room.

Getting There	Edward Lodge is located at 75 Sydney Street New Farm on the corner of Sydney Street and Lower Bowen Terrace. It is a short taxi ride from the City or alternately, catch the 195,196 or 197 bus to New Farm Park. The Lodge is one minute walk from the bus stop.
Parking	On street car parking is available directly in front of Edward Lodge. We are located in the leafy and quiet residential section of Sydney Street and on the corner of Lower Bowen Tce. Parking is generally easy and without time restrictions.
Things To Do	Edward Lodge is conveniently located in the heart of cosmopolitan New Farm in close proximately to a range of restaurants and the night life of Fortitude Valley. It is also close to sporting venues such the Woolloongabba cricket and football ground.
