Worrowing hosts the full choice of unique beach , lake, farm and nature style accommodation and has properties at Vincentia, Hyams Beach at Jervis Bay and Sanctuary Point on a saltwater lake at St Georges Basin. Worrowing Heights is in a central location at Jervis Bay ( near Huskisson and Vincentia ) and is the home of the landmark 250 acre property of "Worrowing" one of few remaining rural properties in the Jervis Bay area and is the perfect coastal hideway location. It is in a renowned location to see Eastern Grey kangaroos and wallabies in the wild. Farm animals can also be seen and is very popular for international visitors, families ,groups and couples. The property is located next to Jervis Bay National Park and is beside a cycleway which is close to the lake and is an easy relaxing ride to Vincentia and along Collingwood Beach into Huskisson where you will find many restaurants, side-walk Cafe's for alfresco dining and the casual atmosphere of a sea side village with many shops and recreational activities. A picture theatre and leisure centre with indoor heated pool, gymnasium and coffee shop are popular whilst on holidays. The house cottages and huts are ideal for groups families or couples looking for a peaceful private getaway, close to white sandy beaches, bay, lake and National parks. | Getting There |
To pick up your key for our beach , lake and farmstay properties Verbal - If travelling from the north We are located approx. 2.5 hrs south of Sydney travelling down the Princess Highway. Turn left off the Princess Hwy ,south of Nowra onto the Jervis Bay Rd. Travel 13km to the first round-about and turn right onto the Wool road in a St Georges Basin and Sanctuary Point direction. 2km on your right as you travel down a hill, you will see the entrance to our property at "Worrowing" at 81 The Wool Rd, Worrowing Heights. Collect your keys and further directions at the front door of the Worrowing Homestead where we will provide further details of your property If travelling from the south , just north of Wandandian turn right off the Princess Highway onto Island Point Road , travel towards Jervis Bay going straight through 3 roundabouts (which changes to The Wool Road at the second roundabout ) then 500 metres on the left is our entrance to 'Worrowing" just before you climb the hill to Old Erowal Bay . OR GPS Navigation - You will NOT find us by Navigation using the address at 81 Wool Road Worrowing Heights (it is not listed on " Where Is Maps" and we are NOT at Basin View ...etc) . When coming FROM Princess Highway to Jervis Bay Road ...SELECT “ go to centre of CBD” Old Erowal bay, it will take you south to ... 148 The Wool Rd. Old Erowal Bay. THEN travel South a FURTHER 700 mtrs to the front entrance of Worrowing which is a farm property on your RHS. If you are traveling North from the Princess Highway to Island Point Road , we are 700 mtrs BEFORE 148 The Wool Rd.Old Erowal Bay on the LHS . OR Map - If your clients are coming in from the Sth or Canberra the instructions will need to be different. A PRINTABLE directional map can be downloaded at via Google Maps website. The directions to your holiday property will be available with your key at Worrowing Homestead when you arrive. |
