Opened in 1985 and continually upgraded, this property offers a range of accommodation; 22 Room Motel, Standard Villas, The Cottages, The Jacaranda and The Billabongs. The Colonial Village offers every convenience for the holiday or business traveller. Conveniently located between the Gateway Motorway M1 and Highway 3, handy to Brisbane Airport and easy access to the CBD. Our accommodation offers a combination of fit out; family units with kitchenettes, queen or twin rooms, all comfortably furnished and fully air conditioned. We also have 21 self-contained villas; some of which accommodate up to 6 people. One villa has been especially built to cater for disabled visitors and is completely useable unassisted. The Billabongs are our Luxury Spa Villas; with everything you could need for a relaxing get-away or business visit to the city. Make a weekend of it if you are coming for a show, or escape from the children for a couple of nights. There is also bedding if you wish to bring the children along too! Our property has a large heated swimming pool, hot tub and BBQ set in pleasant surrounds. Located on the property is a Lanna Thai Restaurant which serves delicious food 6 nights a week. Continental breakfast is available to all Rooms and Villas. An Internet Kiosk is available in the Games Room, where you will also find a pool table, games and library. For the more energetic, a tennis court is located within the property along with a basketball hoop. For those without transport, the City Train is just a short walk away. By train you can connect to the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, Australia Zoo or the hinterland; Montville, Maleny, Mapleton etc. Taigum Centro shopping centre is 500m away and buses at the door connect to all over Brisbane including Westfield Chermside and the Brisbane Airport DFO is a short drive. Nudgee College, Boondall Entertainment Centre, Boondall Wetlands and the Boondall Ice World Ice Rink are within a couple of kilometres. Also handy are Nudgee and Virginia Golf courses, whilst a driving range, The Big Easy, is just 500m along Beams Rd. Luxury awaits you.....relax in the spa. Near new, well-appointed villa to make your stay more than comfortable. Set in sub-tropical landscaped surrounds and only a short stroll to the pool and hot tub. All linen supplied. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $15.00. Extra children $9.00. | Getting There |
If travelling on the Gateway Motorway M1, take the Boondall Entertainment exit and proceed straight ahead in a westerly direction for 3 kms. If exiting Brisbane on Highway 3, turn right into Beams Rd and travel in an easterly direction for 3kms. The property is 13 kms from the CBD. If approaching Brisbane from the north on Highway 3, turn left into Beams Rd at the first set of traffic lights then travel 3 kms in an easterly direction. By train, get off at Carseldine Station and head 900 metres east on Beams Rd. Taxis also frequent our property; Black & White Taxi P. 131 008. If using a GPS to locate The Colonial Village; please use Beams Road, Zillmere (which is the other side of the road)and the corner of Handford Road for your settings. |

All car parking is off street at no cost. The design of the property is such that vehicles are well away from the street. Some accommodation types offer under-cover parking for your vehicle. |

Whether it's hitting the stores or nightlife of the CBD, enjoying the beautiful beaches and hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, or taking in Dreamworld, Movieworld and Seaworld to the south, all are within easy distance of our property. A day trip can have you Whale Watching at Redcliffe or Hervey Bay or taking in Fraser Island, surfing the sand dunes of Moreton Island, dining on a boat cruise on the Brisbane River or taking a scenic relaxing drive in this wonderful part of the world!
