The Mill is a delightful conversion of an 18th century mill house situated in a quiet rural area near Chesterfield and on the edge of the Peak District. With ample parking, 8 lovely en suite rooms, ground floor bar and restaurant, first floor Millers Restaurant, private dining room and conference facilities. Winner of the Outstanding Quality Award 2005/06. The Mill is the ideal location whether on business or visiting the area. Close to Chatsworth House and Estate and many other Peak District attractions, the Mill offers very high quality personal service, wide ranging menus and real ales. Plans for the future include food and wine cookery demonstrations, a patisserie and bakery and jazz nights. We offer several dining options, from bar meals to lunches and dinners. You can eat in our ground floor bar and restaurant, first floor Millers Restaurant (non-smoking) or for that extra special occasion in our private dining suite. Our menus reflect the best of modern cookery and change regularly, vegetarian options are always available and were ever possible we try to source our food from local suppliers. A member of the Master Chefs of Great Britain, we pride ourselves on the quality of food and service-recognised by being selected as finalists for the 2005 Derbyshire Awards for Excellence in Customer Service. |

Travelling from south or north, take junction 29 on the M1 and the exit to Clay Cross. Continue along this road for approximately 4 miles until you reach the T junction with the A61 Derby/Chesterfield Road turn right then immediately left, continue on this road for 1 mile and the Hotel is on the right hand side. |
