Welcome to our lovely home filled with original art, laughter and fabulous food. We are a four star plus Qualmark Luxury B&B which means that we have been rated as EXCELLENT. Our boutique luxury B and B accommodation near Nelson is nestled in the hills in a very privagte area. Enjoy the amazing view from all rooms of the Boulder Bank, the Tasman Sea and the mountains beyond. Enjoy a walk through our sculpture garden, feed our friendly alpacas, explore the herb garden and pinto noir vines or simply relax in the outdoor spa and sauna or enjoy a massage by our inhouse masseuse. Read a book on the patio or take a wander around the house with our art compendium. We have a broad range of both traditional and contemporary art that we have collected over the years. We offer tea and homemade goodies on arrival, a complimentary glass of wine or bubbly and a light appetizer in the evening enjoying the sunset. Our turn down service includes fine chocolates. Our breakfasts are legendary! Awake to the sensory pleasure of freshly baked bread and sip a cappuccino while your breakfast is being prepared. We also feature French crepes, Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, omelets with your choice of fillings. We can cater to your dietary needs, so please advise. Kay, cookbook author and former owner of the School of International Cuisine can provide gourmet dinners and/or cooking classes. We enjoy dinners with our guests whilst we sip one of Nelson’s signature wines, dining on the freshest of Nelson foods in a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Or if you are interested in learning a few new recipes, Kay can teach a cooking class (minimum 2 people) followed by dinner. Joe with a degree in Naturopathic Medicine specializes in therapeutic massage. Dr. Waller is trained in Reiki, Shiatsu, Swedish and Sports Medicine and usually blends several methods to help you unwind, relax and feel fabulous! Indulge yourself, after exploring the best of New Zealand’s local wineries, galleries, golf, restaurants, the Saturday Market, or national park walks. Able Tasman is a little more than an hour’s drive and is one of the top ten visitor destinations in the country. Sink into the most comfortable King-size beds available. Enjoy well-appointed ensuite bathrooms, fluffy towels, and imported linens. Whether you are staying in the Chambre de Provence with its double spa bath and separate shower, the Tuscan Room with its double shower or the Latin Quarter you will have the décor and original art from these areas where we have lived and traveled. The guest lounge features New Zealand Art from some of our finest artists and craftsman. There is a DVD player with surround sound, a computer with high speed broadband and a WIFI connection and an excellent reading library for your use. We also have a number of games and a large flat screen TV with some great movies for your entertainment. There is so much to do in Nelson three nights are recommended. Sink into the comfort of imported linens in a fabulous king bed with ensuite. On State Highway 6, (3 km North of Nelson) turn up Malvern. Wind your way up hill turning right on Montrose, left on Ledbury, left on Capeview and right on Seawatch. We are the last house on the left. |
