The International is an independent AA 3star, offering high levels of comfort and service, together with a warm friendly atmosphere with the emphasis on service to our guests. Situated within walking distance of Derby City Centre and easy reach of junction 24 or 25 of the M1 and just off the A38 the International makes an ideal base to visit the Peak district and surrounding areas such as Alton Towers, American Adventure Theme Park, Chatsworth Stately House and Country Park and Donning Park for the motoring enthusiast. The hotel has 62 bedrooms including three Directors rooms and four Directors Suites. All rooms are ensuite and are furnished to a high standard and include tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone, T.V's with some satellite channels, hair dryers, iron and ironing board. In addition to the above the Directors rooms/Suites have jacuzzi baths. We have single,twin, double, triple and family rooms available. Our Restaurant is one of the busiest in the area, offering a superb choice of English and international dishes, together with an extensive wine list. The style of the restaurant is continental with the emphasis on attentive service from our friendly staff. There is a Lounge where you can take a pre dinner drink or relax with coffee after dinner. |

From M1 South (J25) and A52 Leave M1 and take A52 to Derby City Centre. Look for A38 Burton and Ring Road (M1 South) then A5111 Ring Road until A5250 City Centre. Hotel is on the left in about half a mile. From A38 Birmingham/Burton Follow signs from A516 City Centre (M1 South) to A5111 Ring Road, then A5250 City Centre. Hotel is on left in about half a mile. From A6 Manchester Look for Ring road A38 Burton and Ring Road M1 South. This leads on to A5111 Ring Road until A5250 City Centre. Hotel is on left in about half a mile. From A52 Stoke on Trent Follow signs Ring Road (M1 South) to A5111 Ring Road then turn left at A5250 City Centre. Hotel is on the left in about half a mile.
