The Gambrinus Hotel is in a highly privileged position: in the historic centre of Rome, in a gracious and elegant quarter near many interesting places from a historic viewpoint, but sheltered from the chaos and the city traffic. The rooms of the Gambrinus Hotel are extremely welcoming and equipped with every comfort: It is furnished in four different styles and in four dominant colours. The precious red of "Beautiful Vienna"; the restful "Ducal" beige; the elegant "Imperial" green; the sunshine yellow of "Capri". The comforts available in every room are among the most exclusive that a hotel can offer: air conditioning, high definition, satellite pay-as-you-view TV, fast internet links, fax, safe, iron with ironing board, mini bar, radio-alarm clock, cable radio. To satisfy all needs, guests can choose the most suitable accommodation. The Gambrinus Hotel, in fact, has various different types of rooms: for smokers and non-smokers, single, double, triple and family accommodation (composed of two connected double rooms) and a suite. Some rooms are fitted for disabled guests. Our guests can also choose a bathroom with either a bathtub or a shower, according to their individual preference (on request when booking). |

From the Rome "Leonardo da Vinci" Airport: To reach the Gambrinus Hotel, you can take a taxi, rent a car or take public transport. If you take the "Terravision Shuttle" you will get to the Termini Station, where you can take a taxi or a n° 36 or 90 bus, getting off at the Porta Pia stop. Otherwise you can take the direct "Leonardo Express" train, which will take you to the Termini Station in about 20 minutes. From the Rome "Ciampino" Airport: To reach the Gambrinus Hotel, you can take a taxi, rent a car or take public transport. If you take the Shuttle bus you will get to Via Marsala, near the Termini Station, where you can continue by taxi or by a n° 36 or 90 bus, getting off at the Porta Pia stop. By train To reach the Gambrinus Hotel from the Termini Station, you can take a private taxi or public transport. The n° 36 and 90 buses stop at Porta Pia, right near the Hotel. By car - From the North of Rome. Take the Grande Raccordo Anulare (the Rome Ring Road) in the direction of Fiumicino, as far as the "Salaria" exit. Take Via Salaria as far as Piazza Fiume and then continue straight on down Via Piave, where at number 35 you will find the Gambrinus Hotel. - From the South of Rome. When you leave the motorway, continue as far as the Grande Raccordo Anulare (the Rome Ring Road) in the direction of "Casilina". Leave the Ring Road at the "Casilina - direzione centro" exit and continue as far as San Giovanni. Then take Via Merulana, towards Santa Maria Maggiore, following the road signs for the Termini Station: first follow Via XX Settembre and then take Via Piave, where, at number 35, you will find the Gambrinus Hotel. |

This Rome hotel is situated a few yards from Porta Pia and therefore represents the ideal base for discovering the architectural beauties of this splendid city: you can easily go to visit churches, monuments and museums on foot or by public transport, while in the evening you can relax in the refined and comfortable environment of the hotel, for example enjoying an aperitif at the bar. There are many itineraries that leave from the area around the ancient Porta Pia: a few minutes from the hotel, for example, there is Via Veneto, the symbolic place of the Dolce Vita of the early sixties, immortalized by Federico Fellini in his famous film. At a short distance there are also Piazza di Spagna, with the spectacular Trinità dei Monti Staircase, and the Trevi Fountain, which every traveler must absolutely visit. We also recommend a visit to the splendid Villa Borghese, which you can reach very quickly, and which, with its immense park, constitutes one of Rome's most important green areas. |
