The Anglesea Beachfront Family Caravan Park is a AAAT rated 4.5 star park with beach and river frontage. Anglesea is where the bush meets the sea located along the famous Great Ocean Road and is only a pleasant 90 minute drive from Melbourne. Our Park has the best location in Anglesea and has a range of accommodation to choose from for all budgets. Our Rustic Cedar Spa & Deluxe Cottages are perfect for that romantic getaway or family holiday. The Spa Cottages feature a 2 person corner spa, ensuite, full cooking facilities, air-conditioning, heating, TV, DVD player, FOXTEL, stereo, queen size bed with electric blanket and bunks with all bedding and there is a large deck with an outdoor setting. The family spa cottages feature Gas log fires and LCD TV's. While the couples spa cottage has a gas pot belly heater for that romantic getaway. Our deluxe cottages also have an ensuite, full cooking facilities, air-conditioning, gas heating, 2 TV's, FOXTEL, DVD player, queen size bed with electric blanket and bunks with all bedding. Some also have the gas log fires. We also have Holiday Cabins and Park Cabins which feature ensuites, cooking facilities, air-conditioning, electric wall heating and TV. The Holiday Cabins also feature DVD players,couch and a smaller verandah with an outdoor setting. The park is situated on 16 hectares of parkland and the accommodation all have individual native landscaped gardens and a driveway for your car. Facilities include: * Outdoor solar heated resort style swimming pool with a toddlers pool. * Indoor spa heated all year round to 37 degrees. * Wireless internet facilities & internet room * NEW games room with table tennis, air hockey, pool table and electronic games * NEW toddlers play centre specifically for kids 5 and under * Large camp kitchen for all guests * TV room * Two playgrounds * Giant jumping pillow - fun for all ages * Large recreational oval * Beach volley ball court * Basketball rings * Undercover barbecue facilities * 3 guest laundries The park is centrally located in Anglesea and is just a 5 minute walk to the shopping centre which has a supermarket, plenty of cafe's and shops. Rates are for 2 people only. Maximum occupancy is 3 adults or 2 adults and 4 children. Children are an extra $15 per child per night and adults are $22 per adult per night. Bedding config. is a queen bed in one bedroom and bunks in the 2nd bedroom. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $22.00. Extra children $16.00. | Getting There |
By car, we are located 90 minutes from Melbourne. (Melway reference 196 G7, highway B100). Anglesea is between Torquay (15 minutes) and Lorne (30 minutes). The closest airport is Avalon Airport which is approximately 60 minutes away. By bus or train, the V-Line bus service along the Great Ocean Road connects with the train from Melbourne to Geelong 3 times daily. |

| Things To Do |
Anglesea is a beautiful coastal town that has plenty of things for everyone. You can swim at the surf beach or if you are after a calmer spot for the young children, you can swim in the Anglesea River or take a short drive to the sheltered Point Roadknight which is 5 minutes by car. Point Roadknight is also an excellent spot to go rock pool rambling with the kids. There is plenty of bush walks nearby and the breathtaking surfcoast walk starts within the park grounds. You can take a drive to Erskine Falls in Lorne or to the new Tree Top Walk at Apollo Bay. Go 4WD driving or mountain bike riding out the back of Anglesea. Fish off the jetties along the Anglesea River. Hire a canoe and paddle down the river. Learn to surf at one of the surf schools. Have a picnic or BBQ at Coogarah Park. Relax up the street at one of the cafe's and enjoy coffee and cake or brunch. Take a tour of the open cut coal mine. If it is cold and wet take a drive to Waurn Ponds (25 minutes) and watch a movie at the cinema. |
