Sightseeing place: Purple Mountain;Purple Mountain is a vast area on the east side of the city of Nanjing, where you can spend hiking from one historical site to the other. Cable car ride will bring you to the top of this 400meters high mountain. Dr.Sun Yat Sen's Museum; Dr.Sun Yat Sen's Museum(Zhongshan Ling), which for the Chinese people, is a kind of pilgrimage, as he was considered the Father of the People's Republic of China. The tomb is situated on the top of a very long stairway, of which the steps indicate the number of inhabitants of China by the time he died. The area is 80 thousand sqm with 392 steps. Xuanwu lake; Xuanwu Lake is biggest recreational park in Nanjing with 472 hectare,a lake garden has 5 small islands. |
