Hua Hin is approximately 230 kilometres (140 miles) south of Bangkok. An excellent highway provides for a three-hour drive, or an alternate shuttle service operates the forty-minute flight. King Rama VII built a palace there in 1926 and It remains the Thai Royal family Summer Palace to this day. Evason Hua Hin is located in the quiet area of Pranburi, south of Hua Hin township. Set amongst 8 hectares (20 acres) of gardens, facing the Gulf of Siam, it offers 185 guest accommodations, including 40 private pool villas each measuring 90 square meters (970 square feet) in a garden setting. It is set amongst 20 acres of beautifully landscaped tropical gardens filled with lotus ponds and waterways, facing the Gulf of Siam. 145 guest rooms and 40 pool villas feature a fresh and unconventional design. Most rooms have bright open style bathrooms so as to create more space and light in the room. Evason service standards ensure great attention to detail and a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The Restaurant is a semi-alfresco restaurant that serves a sumptuous buffet American breakfast, including popular Asian items as well as a creative Western and Thai a la carte dinner menu. The Other restaurant features creative fusion delights from around Asia in an alfresco setting overlooking the lotus ponds. The Bar is a two level open-air bar, which overlooks the Gulf of Siam offering lunch and dinner. The Wine Cellar is a walk around cellar complete with wooden table for wine tastings. The resort also has wedding packages that that customised to the guests'needs. |
