Amora Tapae Chiang Mai Hotel (formerly known as The Rydges Amore Tapae Chiangmai Hotel) is a modern Lanna style 4 star hotel located at one of Chiang Mai’s most famous entrance gates into the city, Taphae Gate, and is only 10 minutes away from the airport. The Night Bazaar markets are just 10 minutes away on foot, or a short ride in one of the city's famous tuk-tuks. The hotel was completed in 2002 and offers an excellent mixture of 204 rooms, superior, deluxe and 14 Suites, with exciting views on the famous mountain "Doi Suthep". Our emphasis is on the use of fresh, locally grown produce and typical Northern herbs and spices , for which "Lanna" food has become famous. As well as Chilli's standard a la carte menu, each month we have promotions featuring food and dining experiences from all over the world. You can extend your holiday without even leaving the hotel.Chilli's is open from 6.00 AM until 10.30 PM every day. Our LOBBY LOUNGE BAR, situated in the center of the hotel, is a casual but elegant meeting place for pre and after dinner drinks, exotic cocktails and other refreshments while enjoying our nightly entertainment.
