Wine and Roses is a 2 storey georgian styled property set in beautiful rose gardens, purpose built as a luxury bed and breakfast. We are proudly one of only three AAAT 5 Star bed and breakfasts in SA. Perfectly located just a five minute walk to restaurants such as The Barn, Oscars and Awganix and the many speciality shops in the main street. Recent Guest Comments who stayed in The Retreat 3.10.09 "Have stayed in many hotels and B&B's around the world and in Australia and this is truly one of the nicest. You can choose from four romantic AAAT 5-Star suites:- All have: 4 poster or king beds, large 2 person spas (check the photos) or the long bath with an exclusive bath menu, in the Retreat. Each suite features the latest high definition flat sceen televisions, reverse cycle air conditioning and in the cooler months a cosy open log firepalce. Each suite features either a balcony, sitting room or courtyard. Group Bookings For groups the whole property can be booked which includes use of the guest lounge, ideal to entertain or relax. Features leather lounge, large flat screen tv, dvd player, kitchen facilites etc. A Gourmet breakfast can be supplied for all guests so you can dine together in the dining room. In December 2009, we will be offering home made wood fired oven pizzas too! The oven is currently undergoing construction and should be completed in late November. Service Excellence A commitment to providing the best possible customer service and supporting the local and international tourism industry has been recognised with eight tourism awards in five years, and we were a finalist in the prestegious Telstra Small Business Awards in 2008. Our Focus Wine and Roses is focused on creating unique getaways for those looking for an indulgent escape and we are focused on creating a benchmark for five star accommodation. Walk to Restaurants An easy five minute walk to restaurants and cafes such as The Barn, Awganix, Oscars, Magnums Bistro at Hotel McLaren and Market 190. The following breakfast menu is for the guests staying in the Retreat and Studio Suite: Breakfast Menu. A selection of juices and fresh seasonal fruit is provided in the dining room. Cereals. :A selection of cereals with hot or cold milk. :Traditional porridge served with dried fruits and drizzled with honey. Hot Breakfast. :Corn fritters topped with an avocado, tomato and basil salsa drizzled with a mild chilli sauce and topped with smoked salmon :Scrambled eggs with wilted spinach and slow roasted tomatoes on a bed of home made toast :Breakfast burger with cheese, fried egg, bacon, baby spinach and Spice Girlz tomato chutney on a home made bun Bakery. Freshly baked home made toast Beverages. :A selection of Twining fine teas :Freshly brewed coffee :Hot chocolate with marshmallows If staying in the Cottage or Contemporary Suite provisions for a cooked and Continental Breakfast are provided. |
