Camden Motor Inn is centrally located in Mermaid Beach, 4km south of Surfers Paradise and 200m walk to our beautiful Mermaid Beach. We have 15 renovated modern spacious rooms on 2 levels, with off street undercover parking and guest laundry. Our facilities include a Sparkling Saltwater Pool, Solar heated Spa and private BBQ area. Camden Motor Inn has a great location opposite cafe's, Restaurants, Convenience Store and Public Transport. All rooms have reverse cycle airconditioning and are available to non smokers only. Our sparkling saltwater swimming pool is situated near the motel office & well away from the rooms, so there is no noise for those who want a quiet afternoon nap or a relaxing read. The Spa Pool is situated in the pool area, a favourite with the littlies who enjoy the warmer temperatures of our solar heated spa. As it is adjacent to our main pool, Mum & Dad can keep an eye on toddlers while they have the freedom to enjoy their own swim. Located in Mermaid Beach you are just a short distance from all the attractions the Gold Coast has to offer. Just minutes to the many fine cafe's at Broadbeach, the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, Jupiter's Casino and Convention Centre. Midday & evening meals can be enjoyed at some of the local restaurants and take away food outlets opposite the motel. Camden Motor Inn offers a delicious breakfast menu. Breakfast is served from 7am - 8.30am daily. You can choose to have breakfast in the comfort of your own room or on the sundeck whilst enjoying the morning sun. |

Guests may check in after 12pm. Every person must have a drivers licence and own personal credit card. Office hours are 7.30am till 9pm. For after hours check-in, time must be stipulated and phone prior to your arrival. |

| Getting There |
From Brisbane Airport: Follow the Pacific Motorway south for one hour. Take exit 71 off the Motorway. At the top of the off ramp, take the free turn left at the traffic light & travel 6 kms approx.in an easterly direction along the Nerang/Broadbeach Road, keeping the High Rises of Surfers Paradise on your left, until you reach the Gold Coast Highway. Turn right and travel south 2kms and then turn left into Tamborine Street. We are on the beach side of the highway. Total trip time 1.25 hours. Alternatively, the Airtrain leaves Brisbane Airport, both domestic and international terminals, costing approximately $23 one way per adult. This takes about 1.5 hours to reach either Robina or Nerang train stations where the local Surfside Buses meet every train. If you require an airport transfer by coach, we can arrange this from our booking office in Reception. The cost is approx. $42 per adult. From Gold Coast Airport:- Follow the Gold Coast Highway north for 25 minutes until you reach Mermaid Beach. Turn right at the lights into Heron Avenue. When you reach the beachfront road, turn left and continue until you reach the compulsory stop sign. Veer right and take the 2nd street on the left, Tamborine Street. We are on the corner of Tamborine Street and the Gold Coast Highway. If you require an airport transfer, we can arrange that at our booking office. There is no train service. Local taxi services also operate. |

Local attractions on the Gold Coast include 4 Theme Parks and magnificent Gold Coast Hinterland, including Springbrook and Tamborine Mountain with local wineries and craft shops. -Explore the Gold Coast The variety of different landscapes and activities that the Gold Coast offers is practically endless. Drive to the southern end of the Gold Coast and you'll discover quiet stretches of beach and the ever popular Coolangatta. Less than a 40 minute drive inland, the surroundings change to subtropical rainforest teaming with birdlife and natural waterfalls. All along the Gold Coast there are beautiful valley's to explore, waterways to cruise and boardwalks to stroll. Chat to our friendly team at the tour desk for inspiration and we will arrange your tour for you. -The Shopping If it is shopping you are after, you must see Pacific Fair, it is the largest outdoor shopping centre in Australia comprising 250 shops, and you will find absolutely everything you desire there. Another must see is Carrara Markets with over 500 stalls on 5 acres. It is open every Saturday and Sunday from 6am. -Activities for Everyone Fishing, Boating, Scuba Diving, Hot Air Ballooning, Golfing, Go Karting, Jet Boat thrill rides, Bungy Jumping, Boat Cruises, Glow Worm Caves as well as working on the suntan down on the beach. |
