Edinburgh Quay is designed over four floors, with most of the central apartments overlooking the beautifully regenerated EQ canal basin. This cool urban setting is home to smart apartments and equally stylish bars and restaurants; from here to the heart of the city is a matter of minutes. These are truly lovely city centre apartments; choose from 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms or a number of huge duplex apartments. Inside, you’ll find Italian designer furniture, contemporary fabrics and fully controllable central heating. Naturally, there’s wireless broadband and a rather impressive entertainment system that includes an LCD cable television, superior CD player and TVs in 2 bedrooms (except, obviously, where there’s only 1 bedroom!). The open plan living spaces include a generous dining area and a kitchen equipped with the latest appliances; all master bedrooms have an ensuite shower room with hi-fi speaker. Both bathrooms have a superb multi-position Grohe shower. And the outside? Well, there are some stunning views for starters and large balconies in some apartments. | Getting There |
Take the A8 from Edinburgh Airport through Corstorphine to Haymarket Terrace, stay in the middle lane and follow signs for A8 into Edinburgh City Centre. Carry on to Shandwick Place and follow signs for A702. You will see Frasers Department store ahead on your left and the Rutland Hotel on your right; at this point make sure you take the right hand lane to turn right onto Lothian Road. Once on Lothian Road get into the left hand lane, continue straight ahead and follow signs for A702 (you will pass the Sheraton Hotel on your right). At the very top of Lothian Road/Earl Grey Street, there is a large junction, with three forks, (the Bank of Scotland is on your left), take the right hand lane into Home Street. When on Home Street get into the right hand lane, and turn right onto Gilmore Place, the Kings Theatre will be on your left and Celeste Beauty Spa on the right. Drive for some 100 metres, you will see Gilmore Place church on the left, immediately opposite this is the right turning onto Lower Gilmore Place, from here please follow signs for the EQ-2 apartments. Welcome to Edinburgh, the Capital of Scotland, and to the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town - one of the premier tourist images in the world, an unforgetable skyline running from the Castle to the Palace of Holyrood House. Surrounded by steeply sloping streets and closes evocative of the days when the teeming tenements housed ordinary people and the highest in the land lived cheek by jowl with each other and their domestic animals. The Old Town provides a huge variety of shops catering for every taste. from whisky to the occult and from Highland Dress to Playing Cards.
