Multi Tourism Award-winning romantic getaway for couples of all ages offering a choice of 1 fully self contained Honeymoon Spa Cottage in its owned secluded rainforest garden or two B&B suites (1 with luxury double spa bath) in a private guest wing of the main house. Enjoy peace, privacy, spectacular views from Mt Warning to the rainforests of Springbrook Ranges, solar heated salt-water pool, luxury double spa baths, massage, split system air-conditioning and jolly good food. Hillcrest Main Residence B&B offers private guest entry, air-conditioned guest lounge set up as a quiet reading area with beverage facilities, leather recliner chairs, stereo system, private massage room and 2 air-conditioned B&B Suites with in-room tv, dvd, double glass sliding doors to a large verandah with table, chairs and a hammock outside each room, large ensuite bathrooms - the Blue Room with full size bath and the Spa Suite with luxury double spa bath, both with separate showers, robes, hairdryers, selection of toiletries and candles (for use in bathrooms only please). The guest lounge opens to a charming central atrium with fishpond, tropical plants and resident Australian Green Tree Frogs during the warmer months. Main House B&B Tariff includes port in the evenings and full country style breakfast including home-made bread and home-grown free-range eggs, each morning. Hillcrest Cottage is located away from the main house in its own secluded, fenced rainforest garden. The Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, gas BBQ on the private verandah, air-conditioned lounge with double glass sliding doors looking directly at the rainforests of Springbrook Ranges and the Cougal Mountains, REAL wood fire, wide screen stereo tv, dvd and stereo system. The separate QS Bedroom and huge ensuite bathroom with top of the range luxury double spa bath and separate shower, both look directly at Mt Warning. Hillcrest cottage comes complete with all linen, robes, hairdryer, toiletries and candles. Firewood is provided with our compliments during winter. Hillcrest Cottage is self catering. Light breakfast provisions, including our own home-grown free-range eggs, is included in tariff, however a full breakfast basket can be supplied by arrangement at extra cost (payable directly to Hillcrest on arrival). Centrally located to 5 World Heritage Listed National Parks, untouched beaches, pristine rainforests, galleries, quaint village drives, scenic joy-flights, golf, horse-riding, markets and more, Hillcrest is in beautiful Crystal Creek only 12 minutes from the historic town of Murwillumbah, 35 minutes from Gold Coast airport and 90 minutes from Brisbane and is an ideal central location for your Far North Coast getaway. Hillcrest hosts have a wealth of local knowledge and on-site tourist information and will gladly help you plan the best things to see and do during your stay in the beautiful Tweed region. Murwillumbah, with it's range of pubs, clubs, cafés and restaurants is only 13 km from Hillcrest or you can order a DIY BBQ pack with advance notice. PLEASE NOTE: There are strictly NO self-catering facilities in the main house B&B. If you wish to prepare food please book Hillcrest Cottage which has a fully equipped kitchen and gas bbq. Health and insurance regulations strictly forbid food preparation and consumption anywhere in the B&B guest wing - any "nibblies" you wish to bring with you may only be consumed on the verandah outside your room, in the garden or the gazebo by the pool if it has not been pre-booked by other guests. Only food purchased at Hillcrest may be cooked on the BBQ. We regret but any damage caused by food preparation or consumption in B&B rooms will be charged to your account at full replacement value. Terms and Conditions: All damage to or theft of Hillcrest property will be charged at full replacement cost. Cottage subject to excess cleaning charge if necessary. No cancellations accepted, no refunds or date transfers given. Hillcrest Does Not Cater for Children or Pets Under Any Circumstances - no refunds will be given once booked so please take this condition seriously. |

| Getting There |
Take the Tweed Valley Way turn off (Highway 40) off the Pacific Highway (Highway 1) to Murwillumbah. Turn right at the Town Centre turn off at the Roundabout and drive straight through town to the give way sign at Byangum Road. Turn left into Byangum Road and follow it out of town, you'll see a new bridge on your right (don't cross it!) Bear left into Numbinbah Road (Tourist Route 34 to Chillingham) follow this to Upper Crystal Creek Road, turn right into Upper Crystal Creek Road (by miniature horse stud). Hillcrest is 1.67 km along Upper Crystal Creek Road on the left hand side. Byangum Road to Numinbah Road = 6.7 km Numinbah Road to Upper Crystal Creek Road (follow the sign to Chillingham along Tourist Route 34) = 4.5 km Immediately past the Nursery/Miniature Horse Stud turn right into Upper Crystal Creek Road Hillcrest is 1.67 km along the road on the left hand side. |
