The Grand hotel et Des Palmes emerged in 1874 from the antique household of the Ingham Whitaker family, built previously in 1856 and connected with a secret passage that led to an Anglican church, that today you can find in front of the Hotel. The Grand Hotel et des Palmes is situated in the historical and commercial centre of the city of Palermo; offering an excellent and convenient location for every need: a few steps from the two most famous theatres of the city, Massimo and Politeama Theatres, centres of the major events organized by the city; the principal commercial centre for frivolous shopping; a worthy point of departure for historical and cultural itineraries.
