| Getting There |
Augusta is 30 minute drive south of Margaret River, at the mouth of the Blackwood River and on the coast where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet. The motel is situated in the centre of town in easy walking distance to shops, cafe's, bakery and the river. We can be easily found on the right hand side of Blackwood Ave, just past the Gull Service Station and opposite the Augusta Museum. |

Cape Leeuwin: 10 minutes to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse where the two oceans meet, very scenic limestone coast and the old waterwheel was once wood now turned to stone. Caves: World renowned Jewel Cave (home of the worlds longest stalictite) and karri walk only 10 minutes away. Blackwood River: River Cruises available, fishing (boats available to hire), fly fishing charter, walk along the foreshore to the Blackwood River mouth, safe children swimming, boating, canoeing. Whales: Cruises and land sitings during June to September. Wonderful opportunity to view these enormous creatures up close in their natural environment. Wildflowers in spring, galleries and wineries close by. |
