The Palais Royale is a 40 room guesthouse situated in the heart of Katoomba. All rooms feature heritage style décor, ensuite with shower and bath, full reverse cycle air conditioning, tv, tea and coffee and ironing facilites, hairdryer and telephone with data port. A hearty Mountains Breakfast is served in our heritage style dining room. It is open for breakfast 7.30am-9.30am (Mon-Fri) and 7.30am-10am (Sat & Sun). For dinner, take advantage of the many cafes and restaurants within walking distance of the guesthouse. Relax in the complementary use of spa and sauna. |

| Getting There |
For travel by car follow the M4 motorway from Sydney, which becomes the Great Western Higway as you travel into the mountains. Follow the highway until you reach the sign directing to Echo Point and Katoomba town centre and turn left over the railway bridge. Turn left again at the roundabout after the bridge and then take the first right into Katoomba street. Follow the road until the end of the shops and then come across the crossroad at the bottom (Waratah Street) and you will find us 3 buildings down from the crossroad on the left. For travel by train take the train from Sydney Central and alight at Katoomba. Here you can either walk down the main street to the hotel, catch a taxi or bus, both of which stop at the station. |

| Things To Do |
We are located within 5 minutes walk from many shops, antique stores, galleries and cafes and restaurants. We are also within 5 minutes drive from the maxivision giant screen cinema and the Echo Point / Three Sisters area as well as numerous bushwalks and scenic look outs. There are also many outdoor adventure activity companies in Katoomba and we are within 30 minutes drive from horseriding centres and 1 hours drive from Jenolan Caves and the Zig Zag railway. |
