Saint Germain des Prés is a legendary area around the Hotel Crystal on the Left Bank with lots of restaurants and boutiques. The neighborough still has the spirit of the 1950s jazz players who left a mark on this unique area of Paris. The Crystal Hotel is centrally located, nearby Musee d’Orsay and Musee du Louvre and near bus and metro. The Hotel Crystal welcomes its guests warmly and courteously. The hotel was built in 1870 and entirely renovated. The receptionist will greet you with a warm « Bonjour » and can do so in English, Spanish, Arab and Italian. The hotel Crystal owes its charm to the sophisticated and classical decor, which vary from room to room, and to the attention paid to comfort facilities. The rooms are quiet and on the whole large, and all have private bathrooms which have been also recently renovated. The breakfast can be served in a vaulted cellar, typical from the properties in this area, or in your room.
