Palm View, a small, high-quality AAA/RACQ "four star" holiday apartment complex located in a lush, tropical garden setting. We now have Austar with 27 channels including the Fox Sports Channels and Movie Channels. Perfectly positioned, 100 metres to beach and centrally located to all of Bowen's delights. A scenic walking track begins adjacent to our property and parks, shops and an ocean front golf course are just a short stroll away. Local bus service available from our front door. Relax by our sparkling pool or visit one of the beautiful beaches (some of the best North Queensland has to offer). Make use of our fully-equipped covered barbecue area which even includes the kitchen sink. You'll be spoiled by the four star self-contained apartments which include everything you need to enjoy your holiday. The outer Great Barrier Reef lies about 40km off the coast. We are located at the top of Whitsundays and offer live, unspoilt, fringing reefs consisting of beautiful coral and reef fish right off our beaches. Come for a shore dive or snorkelling adventure with us and see the exciting and colorful underwater world. Local boat trips are available by arrangement. Outer reef and island excursions are available through the on site tour desk. We are a PADI Dive Resort, specialising in personalised quality attention. We offer snorkelling, Intro Scuba Dives, and learn to dive courses up to Divemaster level (guaranteed small personalised classes). Rental equipment and airfills onsite. Pilots most welcome. Free pick up service from local airfield. Aircraft hangar storage by arrangement. Come be our guests. |

| Getting There |
Bus service runs daily north and south along Bruce Highway. Tilt Train and Sunlander services Bowen. Fly into Whitsunday (Proserpine) Airport and either rent a car or use Airport Transport Service available via local travel agent (we are approximately 40 mins drive). |

| Things To Do |
Bowen is an undiscovered tropical paradise. Situated at the top of the Whitsundays, it is surrounded on two sides by the sea. Its beaches are outstandingly beautiful with crystal clear waters and clean sand. The township still has that wonderful unspoilt 'country' feel. Snorkeling and diving straight off the beach provides access to soft/hard corals and tropical fish normally only seen much further offshore. Come for a shore dive or snorkelling adventure with us and see the exciting and colorful underwater world. Dive the famous Yongala wreck located off Ayr, just north of here. If you have been searching for that special place with a great warm climate, beautiful award winning beaches, a golf course on the waters edge, bowls clubs, walking tracks, first class boating facilities (ramps, moorings etc) for boating access to the top end of the Whitsundays then look no further. |
