The newest motel in Havelock North, our 19 air-conditioned luxurious rooms have that added touch of class designed to make your stay memorable and special. All our rooms are tastefully decorated with original art and local photography. Cedar blinds adorn the windows to complement internal timber features. You can enjoy fresh coffee or local Hawke’s Bay wine from our stylish Maxwell Williams crockery and glassware. Our rooms offer visitors the perfect place to relax and pamper themselves with features such as double spa baths, flatscreen televisions, DVD players, snackbars, some with private patios and comfortable king size beds. All rooms also offer internet connection and Sky television coverage to keep you up to date with world events from your Hawke’s Bay retreat. There is a choice of Studio units, 1 Bedroom Units or 2 Bedroom Units. We also have specially-equipped Accessible Units for disabled guests. All rooms are non-smoking. | Getting There |
Harvest Lodge is at 23, Havelock Road, Havelock North. From Auckland and the North: After Napier follow Expressway 50A towards Hastings. Turn left off Expressway at Omahu Road towards Hastings city centre and follow signs for Havelock North. Approach village via Heretaunga St East and Havelock Road. Cross bridge into village and go straight at first roundabout towards village centre. Harvest Lodge is on the right hand side of Havelock Road before the next roundabout. From Wellington and the South: Follow State Highway 2 towards Hastings. At Pakipaki (approx 10kms south of Hastings) turn right into Te Aute Road. Follow Te Aute Road into the village centre. Turn left at the first village roundabout into Havelock Road. Harvest Lodge is on the left before the next roundabout. |

One of New Zealand’s oldest wineries Te Mata Estate is in the same village and the surrounding area contains close to 40 wineries showcasing the best of the Bay’s renowned tipples. Harvest Lodge is an ideal central location both to explore the rural charm of Hawke’s Bay and also to enjoy all the entertainment in the nearby twin cities of Napier and Hastings. These two historical centres offer everything from Art Deco Tours, dolphin shows, the National Aquarium, Splash Planet theme park, hot pools, theatre, cinema and nightlife. |
