Secret Valley Escape is a magical, secluded 200 acre pristine property in the heart of The Blue Mountains Heritage Area. It’s hard to believe you are only a two-hour drive from Sydney. The stunning, secret location, with it's recipe of luxurious accommodation, exclusivity ~ you’ll be enchanted by your Secret Valley experience. There is a choice of accommodation styles to suit your taste. Perhaps the Grandeur of 'Illowra House', beautifully furnished in Colonial period style with luxury at every turn, from the exquisite décor, to the stunning views from each of the three private en suite rooms. Each Lavish Room has a private ensuite bathroom Or you may prefer the seclusion and class offered by one of our self-contained private Cottages, offered exclusively for romantic getaways! (Young children are not catered) In keeping with the traditional Blue Mountains style, the cottages are beautifully appointed. They are made from Mudbricks, made on site, and feature beautiful 100 year old Turpentine hardwood beams reclaimed from Sydney's original Fingerwharf Each has it's own unique theme, log fire and your own personal Hot Tub on the private deck is ideal for those star gazing nights with a glass of champagne close at hand! Your privacy will be ensured on hiring the venue exclusively for your own program during midweek period.Conference room usage and BBQ facilities will be offered free of charge on accommodation booking for 10 couples at $2500 for one night, or $3950 for two night midweek. | Getting There |
Please contact property for a Direction to Secret Valley Escape to be emailed after making a booking - it wouldn't be a secret otherwise! Located at the end of a no through road,it is midway between The Three Sisters and the Jenolan Caves - a two hour drive from Sydney. From Central Station in Sydney, you can take the train to the Blue Mountains. At Mt Victoria Station, you could pre-order for a local taxi to bring you to Secret Valley Escape and the trip will take about 15 minutes. |

The mudbrick cottage each has it's own parking space and assigned parking spaces are provided for guests staying in Illowra House. |

The first thing you notice when you arrive at Secret Valley Escape is the peace and total tranquility. Sit quietly anywhere on the property, and you will see the bush come alive with a plethora of Australian birds and wildlife. Many of the birds seen at Secret Valley are listed as uncommon, becoming rare. It is a perfect place to relax and wind down, to refresh and regenerate. To really appreciate life. You can enjoy the beautiful views from your cottage or if you wish you can venture out into the Secret Valley's private 200 acres of pristine Blue Mountains bush and wildlife, explore the cliffs, creeks and dams. There are peace and tranquility everywhere you go! To explore wider afield, Secret Valley is just a short drive from the Blue Mountains attractions such as a visit to the beautiful Leura, sunset at The Three Sisters, checking out antiques in Blackheath, caving & music at Jenolan Caves, fishing at Cox's River, mushroom picking at the pine forest at Oberon or exploring lookouts for breathtaking views.... For those who like to add a little adventure activity to their relaxation, there are unique adventures to be enjoyed in the Blue Mountains - ranging from bushwalks of rich historic interest, to exhilarating canyon adventures.
