Set amongst native bush with expansive views of the Bay of Many Coves, this five year old property features 11 stand alone apartments, each with private balcony, a relaxed cafe and superb restaurant with an impressive selection of hand picked New Zealand wines. The contemporary style apartments offer self contained facilities, with large bedrooms, ensuites and living areas that all flow to the outdoor areas and of course the view. Surrounded by 11,000 native plantings the swimming pool is relaxing and secluded and the hot tub under the stars completes your experience. The Bay of Many Coves Resort is perfect for romantic getaways, personal retreats and two day breaks. New to the resort is the Makoha Spa offering exquisite spa treatments. | Getting There |
Bay of Many Coves Resort is a 30 minute scenic boat cruise from Picton town wharf. The Cougar Line Water Taxi has a scheduled run departing the Picton Town Wharf at 1.30pm daily. Bookings can be made direct with Cougar Line or check confirmation for contact details for hotel reservations. The Cougar Line staff are happy to arrange secure car storage if needed. The charge for transport to resort is $70 return per adult. Children are half price. |

The Bay of Many Coves Resort is accessible by water or air only. We provide secure moorings for boats up to 18mtrs and a helicopter landing area. |
| Things To Do |
The Bay of Many Coves Resort is surrounded by lush native bush offering a variety of short walks to a waterfall, lookout or glow worms. Situated on the water, dinghies and kayaks are available free of charge for guests to explore the Bay. Full day or half day sailing and cruising charters can be organised with pick up on the jetty. Fishing charters are also available for those wanting to enter the outer Sounds. Dolphin watching is a must which includes a visit to our wildlife sanctury Motuara Island. As the resort is located on the famous Queen Charlotte Track hiking options are available from 6 hours to 2.5 hours. And a favourite with our guests, after the days activites indulge in a massage, hot stone treatment or body wrap and relax in the cedar hot tub under the stars and a glass of well earned bubbly. |
