Getting There From North: On Lake Terrace (State Highway One), approximately 1km from the traffic lights in town.
From South: On Lake Terrace (State Highway One), approximately 5kms from the the airport and just passed the Napier turnoff, immediately after Papaka Road.
Parking One complimentary off-street park per motel unit.
Things To Do A visit to Huka Falls is a must as is a visit Aratiatia Dam. Fly fishing either with an experienced guide or on your own.
Fishing or sightseeing on a boat on Lake Taupo.
Kayak to the Maori carving
Helicopter sightseeing around Taupo or over the National Park.
A thrilling time, how about a tandem skydive, a bungy jump or a ride on the Huka Jet up to Huka Falls, then lunch at Prawn Park afterwards.
Why not have half day trip on the NZ River Jet to Orakei Korako.
Cultural visit to Wairakei Terraces
Swim in the thermal pools or walk in the botanical gardens or take time out to take an art class.

Remember a Rotorua, Hawkes Bay and Waitomo caves make for a great day trip away.

National Park renowned for its spectacular scenery, and snow sports over the winter months not to mention the great walking tracks on offer.
