| Getting There |
As you enter Launceston follow the road down the hill into 80Kms zone then 60 Kms. The road then divides into separate north / south roads. Continue to follow the north road (now Bathurst St) until you come to a set of traffic lights and a the road sign showing the way to Beacons field on the left hand corner is Office Works Turn LEFT make your way over to the right lane at the next set of lights you will see the Old Bakery Inn turn RIGHT. Into Margaret Street drive to the end of the road at the T junction turn LEFT (onto Patterson St) Follow this around under the overpass, over the bridge (Kings Bridge) at the entrance of Cataract Gorge continue up the hill our property is approx 700 metres past the bridge on the left hand side has you drive up the hill you will see a road on the left South Esk Road we are 200 metres passed that road has you approach you will see a sign St Oswald Lane the drive is just passed the sign We are the largest brick home in the street and is well lit up at night . You will see a off ramp going up from the road to the car park in front of the building. |

We have Free off street parking for 5 vehicles It is requested that you Reverse Park facing back down the road in order 1st to arrive parks in bay 1 then down to bay 4 |

Situated 12 kilometers from the airport and 1.5 Km from the center of the CBD Werona is within easy walking distance of many excellent restaurants, museums, antique and book shops, historic homes and National Trust Properties. The cosmopolitan 'Waterfront' has several restaurants to choose from and is the starting point for Tamar river cruises. Explore the Cataract Gorge and First Basin take a chair lift or walk the suspension bridge across the gorge From Werona you will be able to tour the Tamar valley Wine Route where many a fine drop of red or white and boutique wines may be sampled, go trout fishing on private lakes, take in the views of the beautiful Tamar Valley, explore Ben Lomond mountain where you can hike all year round or ski in the winter An ideal central base to tour all of Northern Tasmania and visit all the following attractions Cataract Gorge Tamar River Cruises Tamar Valley vineyards National Trust Properties Queen Victoria Museum Art Galleries Roman Baths Woolmers Estate The Lavender farm |
