Stunningly refurbished in December 2007, this magnificent retreat was once home to the Brigidine Order of Nuns in Coonamble, about 600kms west of the Hunter Valley. After careful reconstruction it now sits amidst magnificent landscaped gardens and vineyards. Seventeen spacious guest rooms are beautifully furnished in a provincial French country bedroom style, with large balconies overlooking the vineyards. A warm homely ambience encourages relaxed conversation with old and new friends. Located right in the heart of wine country and just a short stroll from the acclaimed restaurant - Roberts at Pepper Tree and numerous wineries. Pamper yourself in the newly renovated treatment room of Endota Retreat Spa. Endota have a wide selection of massages, facials, body wraps, day long treatments and many other finger tingling treats to assist with your well deserved relaxation. Other features include an outdoor pool, tennis court (we have racquets and tennis balls), spa house, complimentary bikes to tour the local area with. |

| Getting There |
Take the F3 or National Highway #1 north of sydney. Once you are on the freeway, after travelling through areas such as Chatwood, Gordon etc you will stay on this freeway for about 75 minutes. You will see a turn off for "Cessnock" take this exit and this becomes highway #82. Follow the signs through to cessnock and turn right into Vincent Street. Follow this all the way to the end and turn left, then right very quickly into Allandale Road. Follow Allandale Road for 3 km and you will see Cessnock airport on your left hand side. After Cessnock airport, take the first left into Broke Road and we are about 1km on the left hand side - turn left into Halls Road and follow the road until you see the Pepper Tree Estate. |

Wine tours - we are able to organise wine tours with a driver or perhaps you would prefer a horse drawn carriage tour. We also have excellent local maps and are very happy to give you our personal recommendations. We are also able to organise massages on site in your accommodation room with our resident masseur - endota Hot air balloon flights, flights in a bi-plane, golf, cheese tasting, wine appreciation schools, horse riding, canoeing all available very close to the property. |
