Willow Dene Apartments are located in Bright in the picturesque Ovens Valley in North Eastern Victoria A beautiful town in all seasons. Our Autumn and Spring Festivals contribute to the many reasons that Bright has become one of Victoria’s most favoured holiday destinations. The units are situated on the Northern side of the Ovens River, a short walk from the town centre. Being built on a recessed block ensures privacy for the guests and safety for the children. Each of the five two bedroom apartments is fully self- contained with undercover parking at the door. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, built in robes. Second bedroom configurations vary according to requirements. All linen is provided. A spacious lounge room with reverse cycle air conditioning / heating, television, vcr-dvd. ( video library free of charge) Fully equipped kitchen with full size electric stove, refrigerator and microwave. All units sleep 5-6 people. But very suitable for couples as well. Wheelchair access Physically less than able suitable. Baby needs, porta-cots, high chairs and baby bath. ( no charge) Non Smoking units available. |

| Getting There |
300kms. North East of Melbourne. Travel on the Hume Freeway to the Bright exit then the Great Alpine Road to Bright. On arrival in Bright turn left at Star Road, cross the river and turn right at T intersection into Toorak Rd. Willow Denes stone entrance is 100m on the left hand side on the bend,. You can also travel on the Princes Highway to Bairnsdale then the Great Alpine Road to Bright. This route is much longer. V-Line operates a daily return rail service from Melbourne to Wangaratta with a connecting bus to Bright. Guest transport from bus terminal in Bright is available on request |

Numerous attractions in the surrounding area include the following. Bush walking, river fishing, horse riding, 4 wheel driving tours. Para and hang gliding, micro light and helicopter flights. Skiing, snow boarding, tobogganing and cross country skiing.( Mt.Buffalo, Falls Creek and Mt. Hotham to choose from. Swimming. Play 18holes at the Bright Country Golf Club. Cycling ----Rail trail cycle path.(Wangaratta to Bright, connection to Beechworth.) Visit the Deer, Emu and Alpaca farms and lavender and berry farms. Taste our local wines. Walk in the National Parks lands or just browse through our local shops. Restaurants-----Hotels. Wine and dine or simply enjoy doing nothing but relaxing. |
