NFinches of Beechworth is located in the historic goldmining township of Beechworth; close to the snowfields and central to the many wineries and gourmet food producers of the orth-East region of Victoria. It is a relaxing haven within walking distance of the shops, galleries and restaurantsof historic Beechworth, and also the perfect touring base for exploring some of Australia's most beautiful and interesting country.
Finches is a meticulously restored Victorian home, nestled within an extensive English style garden, offering elegant accommodation and tranquil surroundings.
The delightful sitting room, with its extensive library, CD collections and open fire, is a perfect place to relax or to enjoy a pre-dinner drink. We can also organise a gourmet food platter of famous local produce.
There are six individually decorated bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, accommodating up to twelve guests.
The house is framed by a wide wisteria covered verandah.
Breakfast provided is an English full breakfast served on the verandah in the warmer months or in the cosy dining room with open fire in the cooler months.
Our guest lounge provides tea & coffee facilities, refridgerator, cakes & biscuits, television, CD's & player and extensive library.

Getting There	A comfortable 3 hour drive from Melbourne and 7 hours from Sydney. Entering from Wodonga, turn right at the roundabout into Camp Street and entering from Wangaratta, turn left at the roundabout into Camp Street. Take second left into Finch Street. Things To Do	Two minutes walking distance from the historic main street, offering many great restaurants, antique stores, boutiques and Beechworth's Historic Precinct. For the energetic we have the Murray to the Mountains Rail Trail and the Gorge Walking Track. For the warmer months swimming in the Lake Sambell, the Gorge, Woolshed Waterfalls or the local pool. Beechworth is also centrally located amongst other great towns such as Yackandandah, Bright, Myrtleford, Rutherglen, Chiltern and Milawa Gourmet Region.
