COMPLIMENTARY MOUNTAIN TOUR Join us at 9:00am on your first day and we will show you the three mountains of Sun Peaks. Our orientation tour will assist you to find terrain best suited for your ability. We can also show you some of the locations you might not find by yourself. The McDonnell brothers; Scott, Kent and Craig, welcome you to our world renowned bistro set amongst the majestic vistas of Sun Peaks Resort. In 1993, we sat at the kitchen table with our loving parents and partners Randy and Jess, and discussed the direction in which we wished to take our futures. We discovered that our love for food, good times and cheer (as well as 30 years of combined food and beverage experience) was a recipe for success; thus, the dream began: to create and build a successsful bistro and bar. Our first operation opened in downtown Kamloops in the fall of 1993. Macker's Bistro quickly evolved intoa place where people knew they could count on great service, a comfortable menu and a guaranteed good time. Macker's reputation grew and we became known for some of the finest pasta dishes for miles around. Our solid reputation and our dedication to quality and detail attracted the attention of Al and Nancy Raine who invited us to open our current Macker's at Nancy Greene's Cahilty Lodge in 1996. |
