The Spa Cottage is perfect for couples wanting a peaceful romantic getaway but can also accommodate three people. It has an upstairs loft bedroom with a queen and single bed. Downstairs there is a living area, fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom.
Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults AU$30.00. Extra children AU$20.00. The room caters for a maximum of 3 adults, and a maximum of 1 child but cannot exceed 3 guests in total.

The Family Cottage accommodates four people and has a loft bedroom with a queen and two single beds. Downstairs is the living area, fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The cottage is kept nice and cosy with a wood heater in the colder months.

Daisy Bank Cottages is located at 64 Middle Tea Tree Rd, Richmond. From the Hobart Airport or Hobart, follow directions to Cambridge, turn right onto the Richmond Rd. Just before the township of Richmond, turn left onto Middle Tea Tree Rd. We are 800m along on the right, just past the caravan park. |

| Things To Do |
Farm Pack a picnic and explore the property. Daisy Bank farm is 860 acres, most of which is arable. We have Polwarth sheep for wool, irrigated cropping including alkaloid poppies, peas, vegetable seeds and barley for the Cascade Brewery. There is also a bush reserve containing beautiful white gum and black peppermint forest with a gorgeous display of orchids in October - November. Richmond Village Alternatively you can explore the village, which is famous for its Georgian architecture, the Richmond Bridge and Australia?s oldest Catholic Church. Discover the convict heritage of the town, including the Richmond Goal. There are plenty of galleries and craft shops featuring Tasmanian products, as well as antique shops and the local maze. Eating out and wine tasting There is a delicious bakery in Richmond and for dinner there is a choice of a few restaurants and cafes. We are located in the Coal River Valley, one of Tasmania?s large wine-producing areas. You can take a drive through the countryside and taste some of the fine cool climate wines at the cellar door. Hobart and galleries Hobart is only a 25 minute drive away and is full of great restaurants, shops, the Tasmanian Museum, Salamanca Market and of course the wonderful art galleries. The recently opened Museum of Old and New Art at Berridale is a must see. Recreation There are plenty of activities in the area to explore with children. Zoodoo and the Bonorong Wildlife park are only 10 minutes and 20 minutes away respectively, there is the Richmond maze to get lost in or if you fancy a stroll on the river around the Richmond bridge you can collect some duck bread from the bakery and feed the ducks. If you feel like a hit of golf, we are minutes away from the Richmond public golf course, and 20 minutes away from the Richmond golf club (Cambridge) and the Tasmania golf club (near Airport). There is also a tennis court in Richmond. Surrounding areas We are conveniently located 20 minutes from the airport and we make the perfect base for exploring the Huon and Derwent Valleys and the Tasman Peninsula including Port Arthur. |
