In Florence’s historic downtown, the Athenaeum (4 star hotel) enjoys a privilege location just a few steps away from the Accademia ( Michelagelo’s David ) and from San Marco ( fra’ agelico’s frescoes ). A brief stroll will take you to the Duomo and the shopping areas; also nearby, are the Congress Hall and the Fairground and Pavillions. The 60 elegant soundproofed rooms in contemporary design are equipped to guarantee genuine comfort according to the best international standards: the material chosen for furnishings reflect the fine Tuscan artisan tradition – its marble, leather and quality wood. Attentive to maintaining a unique personalized service for its guests, the Athenaeum offers a restaurant with refined Tuscan specialties, a cocktail bar and a gracious patio for outdoor dining. A conference room is also available with a 60 people capacity as well as a private indoor garage on the premises. Great news for golfers: our putting green located in a large terrace on the first floor can be used by our guests to train and keep in good shape during their stay at the Athenaeum. |

Follow the direction for the city centre. Take Viale Guidoni, after 1 km turn right in via Forlanini at the roundabout turn left in viale Redi. Proceed straight until the end of the street, reaching viale Belfiore turn left in via Guido Monoca and left again at the 1st traffic lights in viale Rosselli. Follow the street around the Fortezza da Basso, then at the 1st light go straight on viale Spartaco Lavagnini. Make right in piazza della Liberta’ and take the 2nd street on your right, via Cavour where the hotel Athenaeum is located. |
