Port Douglas Plantation Resort is a family run boutique style resort offering a mixture of one bedroom apartments and two bedroom (2 bathroom) villas. Our guests choose space and privacy, surrounded by four acres of cultivated lush tropical gardens. Expect a friendly laid-back, relaxed and welcoming home away from home atmosphere... Imagine relaxing by the pool with a cool drink from our Licensed Poolside Cafe and Bar, reading a book from the library or playing a game of Backgammon, while the kids entertain themselves safely with the activities in the pool area. For the more energetic there is always the full size tennis or volley ball court. Breakfast is served each morning from 7.30 to 9.00am undercover at the poolside cafe, at night this turns into a funky pizza / pasta bar ideal for groups, singles and families. Being 6km from Port Douglas village, Plantation Resort is ideal for children, perfect for families and a haven for couples that want to be at arms length from the hustle and bustle of town. Reception Hours are between 8.30am and 4pm Mon - Friday and 8.30am to 12 noon on weekends. Late arrivals will find a welcome letter on the reception door with a map and directions of the resort. Licensed poolside bar/cafe opened to 9pm 7 days |

| Getting There |
From Cairns airport drive north along the scenic Captain Cook Highway toward Mossman for approx 65kms. Plantation Resort is the first resort on the right, 1km before the turn off to Port Douglas. We can arrange if required, transfers from Cairns Airport to the resort at a cost of $35 per person by request. |

Port Douglas is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef as well as the world renowned World Heritage Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation. All tours can be booked with our experienced tour desk staff. We suggest booking all trips on arrival, particularly reef trips, as they are weather dependent. We can, if you wish, plan a whole itinerary of activities for you based on your interests should they be fishing, diving, snorkelling, ecology, 4wd adventure, birdspotting, paragliding, ballooning, sailing, hiking, shopping, massage and beauty therapy, food and wine appreciation or just relaxing by the pool! Port Douglas boasts some of the best restaurants and shopping anywhere! |
