The Halfway Motel is centrally located, within a few minutes walk of the town's many facilities, restaurants, hotels, club and shops. The complex features 30 reverse cycle airconditioned units, a barbeque area, solar-heated saltwater pool and spa. The units are appointed with guest comfort and convenience in mind, catering for families, doubles, twins and singles. All units feature either king or queen size beds, some with spa bath, direct dial ISD phones, tea/coffee making facilities, toaster and refrigerator, iron/board, hair dryer, television and electric blankets. ALL UNITS NON SMOKING. Located at the northern end of theCBD (150 m north of Post Office) and opposite supermarket, service station and the award winning Eden Gateway Tourist Information Centre. The historic township of Eden sits on the beautiful shores of Twofold Bay, with sapphire blue sea to the east and timbered ranges to the west. Eden offers a restful backdrop to enjoy year-round holidays, with surfing, sailing, fishing, hiking, tennis, squash, golf and lawn bowls. You can also enjoy cruises on the bay, coach tours, whale watching (late September - early December), charter fishing trips, 4WD tours and visits to our magnificent national parks. |

Eden, along with Twofold Bay, are considered to be one of the most attractive locations on the South Coast of New South Wales. Listed below are a sample of local attractions and activities whilst holidaying in Eden. Attend the Eden Gateway Visitor Information Centre to consider the vast array of activities available, located directly opposite the Motel. Try a Fishing charter, go whale watching (in season), diving, swim and surf at the pristine and secluded beaches around Eden. Visit Eden's award winning Killer Whale Museum, Boydtown's historic Seahorse Inn, hike in our magnificent national parks. Take a cruise on the Cat Balou on breath-taking Twofold Bay (third deepest natural habour in the world). During October-November the whales stop over in the Bay with their just born calves whilst migrating back to Antarctica. The sight of a majestic humpback whale breeching next to you on your Twofold Bay cruise is truly awe-inspiring. Visit the historic villages of Pambula, Wyndham, Candelo, and visit Kamaruka Estate, the Bega Cheese Factory, and sampe the wines at Grevillia Winery. Try a sea kayaking tour on Twofold Bay with a certified guide/instructor. |
