Also, take the time to explore the intriguing hinterland with colourful country towns, where top quality cheeses, wines and berries are produced. A short drive east of Peterborough, the new Otway Fly Treetop Walk is a must - the longest and highest canopy walk of its kind in the world! And a short drive west of Peterborough is Warrnambool and Logan's Beach - famous for its whale watching from May till September, and home of Flagstaff Hill Maritime Centre with its spectacular "Shipwrecked" sound and laser show.
