Cheneston's Restaurant Cheneston's, a derivative of an early spelling of Kensington, is the Milestone's atmospheric restaurant, which has an international menu with an emphasis on modern British cuisine. These mouth-watering dishes are complemented by a traditional English table d'hðte menu. Stables Bar Aptly named because of its original function as the carriage house, the Stable Bar is the hotel's convivial meeting place. Here, guests enjoy the pre-theatre aperitifs or watch the latest sports and news reports over a beer or a favourite night-cap. The Park Lounge With views of the Palace and Kensington Gardens, the Park Lounge provides an ideal respite for guests to enjoy a traditional English afternoon tea, light snack or the simple pleasures of a good book in front of the roaring fireplace. Heathrow Airport: Underground- Paddington Station direct to High St. Kensington British Rail - Heathrow Express to Paddington Station (15 min), and then taxi to hotel Gatwick Airport: British Rail- Gatwick Express to Victoria Station and then taxi to hotel Taxi, Car, and Chauffeur Service We offer a chauffeur driven Bentley car service for transportation between the hotel and either Gatwick or Heathrow Airports which may be booked by our concierges for a fee.
