Welcome to Gilmer Apartment Hotel Wellington. We are located within the golden mile of Wellington's shopping district near Lambton Quay. It is 5 minute walk to the waterfront, 15 minute walk to Te Papa (the National Museum of NZ), The Westpac Trust Stadium and Victoria University. As we're in the centre of the CBD, it really is handy to everything! This includes the restaurants, entertainment venues and exhibition and conference venues.

Gilmer Apartment Hotel features a great range of facilities for your convenience and enjoyment. Guests can feel confident that our apartments have been designed with security in mind. Security key tags for after hour’s access are provided.

Apartment features include a fully equipped kitchenette, En suite bathroom, Sky TV-6 Channels, ironing board and iron, and, unlimited high speed wireless broadband internet is available to purchase from Freedom Internet. Internet vouchers can be purchased from reception:

Getting There	Gilmer Serviced Apartments is a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport or 12 minutes walk to the train station. It is located off Boulcott Street. We can be accessed from The Terrace and Lambton Quay via the James Cook Hotel lift exit 'AB or CD' if arriving by foot. From the Ferry: A taxi from Interislander Terminal will cost approximately NZD20.00 It will take 5-7 minutes to reach the hotel. Shuttle services are also available on demand. If driving from the Interislander Terminal, drive towards the city and turn left onto Whitmore Street(fouth set of lights from the ferry terminal)follow it through until it becomes Bowen Street and turn left off Bowen Street onto The Terrace. Drive up The Terrace and take left offramp just after James Cook Hotel to go onto Boulcott Street. Take first left from Boulcott Street to Gilmer Terrace and we are just on the right hand side. From the Train Station: We are approximately a NZD10.00 taxi ride from the train station. Alternately you may choose to walk along Lambton Quay until you reach City Life Hotel. Take the lifts of City Life Hotel to the 6th floor, exit the building through their reception. Walk down Gilmer Tce and we are on the left hand side. By Car from the North: If arriving in Wellington from the north, simly take "The Terrace Exit" . Turn right from the set of traffic light and be in your left hand side lane. Take the off ramp just after the turn to go left on Boulcott Street. Take first left from Boulcott Street to Gilmer Terrace and we are just on the right hand side. We have an after hours (off site) reception team who are available to provide phone assistance should you require it any time that our reception is not manned.
Parking	Limited car parking is available at $15 per night subject to availability. Please contact us prior to your arrival to book. If there are no parks available onsite, it is a short walk to a secured parking building (Wilson Parking pay and display)or Tournament Parking (pay and display)
Things To Do	Shopping, award winning restaurants and popular cafes, galleries are all in close proximity to the apartments. The waterfront, Wellington's new Oriental Beach and the inner city walkways are a short distance away. A taxi ride of approximately $10 can take you to Te papa and to the Courtenay Place night life!
