Silvermere is located in Wentworth Falls. The guesthouse is a large State Heritage listed Mediterranean style villa built in 1923 set amongst 6000sqm of cool climate garden with spectacular views to the world heritage Blue Mountains National Park. Fully serviced, Bed and Breakfast style accommodation is available in the Guest House and Chauffeur's cottage for singles, couples and groups up to 10 persons. Included in the price in the guesthouse rooms is a full country breakfast. The Chauffeur's Cottage is self-contained. The Dairy is another cottage on the south side of Wentworth Falls. The Dairy sleeps up to six persons and is self contained. Choose from one of the four rooms in the guesthouse. Each room is named after one of the mountains that can be seen from Silvermere's front terrace. All rooms are individually decorated with hand made quilts, original art work and mixture of antique and modern furnishings. They are centrally heated, with tea and coffee making facilities, television with movie channels and in-house phones. The Dairy
The Dairy Cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 rooms x queen beds & 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. A new bathroom with a spa bath, shower and toilet plus extra separate toilet, modern kitchen facilities with open plan dining/living area looking garden and deck. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $30.00. The room caters for a maximum of 4 adults, and a maximum of 2 children but cannot exceed 6 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:

Chauffeurs Cottage
This cottage has a double spa and separate shower, small kitchen, deck and BBQ. This is a fully self-contained cottage - breakfast not included but can be purchased. Minimum two night booking. Please advise of your estimated time of arrival, and notify us if you will be arriving late. Open hours are 7.30am-10pm. However, managers live on site therfore anytime is ok as long as notified. |

| Getting There |
By Car From Sydney - 1. Join the M4 from Sydney(directions to Parramatta, Penrith or Blue Mountains). This joins the Great Western Highway after Penrith. 2. On the Great Western Highway (going towards Katoomba) turn right at Wentworth Falls Shops (opposite Grandview Hotel which is on the left-hand side). 3. Continue through the shops and across the bridge over the railway line. 4. Lake Street is the second street on the left-hand side after the bridge. 5. The entrance is clearly signposted about 40 metres up the hill on the right hand side. 6. The Chauffeur's cottage is on your right as you drive in the gate. 7. For the main house drive up to the turning circle at the top of the drive and park; walk up the steps to the front door. By Train - Pick-up is available if phoned through in advance. Alternatively their are taxis outside the station, or it is a 10 minute walk from the station. |
