Historic Pagoda Lodge and Jade cottage with polished hardwood floors, tasteful Asia Pacific decor are set in Park like grounds on the edge of a tranquil river and Keri Keri Inlet. The rooms are comfortable and range from large Family flats and studios to a honey moon cottage. All have lovely park, garden or river and Pa site views.
The bird song, elaborate sub tropical gardens, flowing river, plentiful fish life and dramatic silver gums on the Pa site provide the perfect blend of earth, wind and water!
We provide a whole new experience in luxury camping - enjoy romantic Gypsy Caravans with sweet smelling Japanese cedar finishes or deck mounted luxury Safari Tents with stylish furnishings, all comforts and breathtaking water views.
Life sized Buddha's and pagodas complement the mature gardens.
Next door are famous heritage sites: The Maori Chief's, Hongi Hika Pa site, Rewas Village and the Stone Store river basin with New Zealand's oldest settler buildings.
There are lovely walks to two waterfalls, swimming from our own jetty, kayaking on the river and biking trails.

Our concept is to provide "a magical, integrated experience with nature and our special river front property yet with all possible comforts and a certain style".
For a romantic getaway, enjoy nostalgic gypsy caravans or furnished safari tents with a touch of luxury on special sites, many with stunning water views. All have comfortable beds, quality linen, drapery & electricity. Private & garden-screened, the caravans have raised queen beds, special glass windows, French doors, Japanese cedar lining, fridge, kettle & outside washing facilities. Toilets, showers, well equipped kitchen (with cutlery) & laundry are nearby.

The large, central entertainment deck, caf?-style seating & barbecue overlook the water & silver gums of the Pa site.

Getting There Come off route 10 and just before Kerikeri town turn right at the Caltex roundabout into Hobson Avenue that becomes Cobham Road then Inlet road after a sharp left turn. 2.5km down inlet road turn left into Pa road and Pagoda Lodge is at the bottom on the left hand side.

Things To Do We are right next to two of Northland?s most famous heritage sites (Hongi, the famous Maori Chief?s Pa site and the Stone Store Basin with two of the oldest settlers buildings situated on a lovely river basin). Kerikeri town (considered the central hub in the Bay of Islands) is 5 minutes away and has the best range of cafes, wine and art trails in Northland. Only 20 minutes north are the most pristine beaches & wreck diving and 15 minutes south are all the main boating attractions of Paihia - swim with the dolphins, sailing, yacht charters and island tours. To the west are hot pools and scenic drives.

Pagoda Lodge can offer forest and river walks, a tranquil swimming river, kayaks for hire and boat charters by arrangement.
