Nestled in an intimate valley high in the Elk Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Snowmass Village is a magical place. Winter or summer, everything that you need for an incredible vacation is within steps of your accommodations. Select from dozens of fine dining experiences and shop the many unique boutiques. There are more than twenty restaurants within a short walk of The Silvertree Hotel. Just minutes away in Aspen are even more dining and shopping choices. Visit museums and fine art galleries, attend concerts, dance performances, theater, stand-up comedy, and film showings; it all happens right here! Superior rooms feature views of the grounds, pool, or surrounding mountains. One king or queen bed or two double beds are available. Value rooms are our most affordable accommodations, offering limited or obstructed views. Two doubles beds or one king or queen bed are available. Guest rooms were renovated in 2000. There are rooms with balconies. Guest rooms offer non-allergic pillows & blankets, robes available, humidifiers, fans and complimentary USA Today. Flexible and functional meeting rooms are capable of holding up to 2000 people. Enjoy terraces outside meeting rooms for gatherings under gracious blue skies. Three full-service kitchens ensure meals at their freshest. A well-trained professional staff is sensitive to your needs. Complete audio/visual equipment is available. All of this is within the peaceful setting of the majestic Rockies. The Snowmass environment will make your meeting productive and memorable. Much of our meeting space recently underwent significant improvements. The unique 4,500-square foot Cabaret Room received complete renovations, including new lighting, carpet, wallpaper, improved acoustics, T1 Internet access, drop down screens, installation of DMX cable radio, and new chairs. The 750-square foot Elbert Room was enhanced with new carpet, wallpaper, lighting, speakers, phones, T1 access, and new chairs. We now feature a high speed Internet T-1 available for your meetings! |

The Wildwood Lodge is located in the center of Snowmass Village at 40 Elbert Lane. Snowmass Village is approximately eight miles west of Aspen, Colorado. BY AIR: Aspen's Sardy Field (ASE), located just three miles from Aspen and eight miles from Snowmass Village, is the most conveniently located ski resort airport in the world. Up to 126 flights per week offer reliable, same-day connections from points across the globe. The Silvertree Properties supply complimentary Aspen airport shuttle service; please call us from the transportation services kiosk. Aspen Airport is currently serviced by United Express, Northwest Jet Airlink, and America West Express. Three airlines are offering direct service into Aspen/Snowmass. Denver International Airport (DEN): Is a scenic three-and-a-half hour drive from Snowmass Village. Car rental, airport limousine service, and non-stop shuttle service from DIA to Snowmass Village are available. Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE): Is located just 70 miles from Snowmass Village. Car rental and airport limousine service into Aspen are available. Flights into Eagle are offered from 11 cities on six major airlines, permitting one-stop connections from across the globe. Please visit the Aspen Snowmass Welcome Center located in the baggage claim area of the jet center. Service into Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is provided by one airline in the summer and six airlines in the winter. Grand Junction's Walker Field (GJT): is only a two-hour drive from Snowmass Village (125 miles). America West Express, Sky West - The Delta Connection, and United Express offer a weatherproof alternative to flying directly into the mountains. Weekend charters from California and Florida. Colorado Springs Airport (COS): Is 270 miles from Aspen/Snowmass. Up to 70 daily flights from 25 cities on 10 airlines. DRIVING DIRECTIONS: From the Aspen Airport: Turn left (north, towards Glenwood Springs) onto Hwy. 82 and travel for approximately 2 miles. Turn left onto Brush Creek Road at the first traffic light, following signs toward Snowmass Village/Snowmass Ski Area. Follow Brush Creek Road for approximately 6 miles. In Snowmass Village you will pass a Conoco gas station on your right. Continue straight up the hill. At the top of the hill the road forks. Stay on Brush Creek Road, to the left, following the arrow on the "To Upper Village" sign. Take the next right turn onto Upper Snowmelt Road. Take the next left onto Elbert Lane. The Wildwood Lodge lobby will be on your right approximately 40 yards down the street. From Denver & Eagle Airports and all points east of Aspen: Take I-70 west to Glenwood Springs. Take Exit 116 at Glenwood Springs, follow the signs for Hwy. 82 (right at 1st traffic light, right again at 2nd traffic light, onto Grand Ave./Hwy. 82, crossing bridge over Colorado River), toward Aspen. Follow Hwy. 82 for approximately 38 miles. DO NOT turn at the first sign for Snowmass (note mileage); this will take you to "Old Snowmass." Follow the signs for Snowmass Village/Snowmass Ski Area. Turn right onto Brush Creek Road at the traffic light, following signs toward Snowmass Village/Snowmass Ski Area. Follow Brush Creek Road for approximately 6 miles. In Snowmass Village you will pass a Conoco gas station on your right. Continue straight up the hill. At the top of the hill the road forks. Stay on Brush Creek Road, to the left, following the arrow on the "To Upper Village" sign. Take the next right turn onto Upper Snowmelt Road. Take the next left onto Elbert Lane. Alternate Summer Route from Denver & points east of Aspen: Take Colorado Highway 24 from the north or south (or Route 91 south from Copper Mountain off of I-70 to Hwy. 24). Turn west on Hwy. 82, crossing Independence Pass, and follow Hwy. 82 through Aspen. Approximately 4 miles west of Aspen, turn left onto Brush Creek Road at the traffic light, following signs toward Snowmass Village/Snowmass Ski Area. Follow above directions. PLEASE NOTE: Independence Pass is open only in the summer months. While it is a paved 2-lane highway, in places it is extremely narrow, winding, and exposed and should be driven cautiously. From Grand Junction & all points west of Aspen: Take I-70 east to Glenwood Springs. Take Exit 116 at Glenwood Springs, follow the signs for Hwy. 82 (right at 1st traffic light, right again at 2nd traffic light, onto Grand Ave./Hwy. 82, crossing bridge over Colorado River), toward Aspen. WINTER ACTIVITIES: The Snowmass/Aspen area has some of the finest skiing in the world. We have over 3,000 acres of uncrowded ski runs and every kind of terrain. Do you want to learn to ski or snowboard, or hone your skills? Lessons are available for all levels of skiing and snowboarding. There are even classes specifically for women and adults over fifty. Your children can get the same exceptional level of instruction; there are childcare, ski school, and snowboarding programs for children from six weeks to teenagers. Exciting festivals go on all through the winter season, including Christmas events, the Wintersköl celebration, Banana Season, and a traditional Mardi Gras Celebration. Cultural activities include the Aspen Ballet's winter schedule of dance performances, Aspen Filmfest's Shortsfest, the U.S. Comedy Festival, and the Aspen Music Festival's Winter Music Series.
