It is situated on the magnificent scenic coastal drive of The Great Nature Trail between the charming seaside towns of Ulverstone and Penguin, on the beautiful North West Coast of Tasmania, with absolutely stunning OCEAN VIEWS over Bass Strait and Islands. It is within an hour’s drive of the world famous Cradle Mountain, the Tarkine wilderness, and the historic fishing village of Stanley and is the perfect base to stay if you are exploring this very beautiful part of Tasmania with its breathtaking Mountain, Lake and Ocean scenery and green patchwork hills of the hinterland. All you have to do is unpack, unwind and relax, in one of our beautifully furnished and decorated rooms. The rooms have romantic lace canopy four poster beds, SEA VIEWS, and luxurious ensuites with claw bath or double spa, shower and toilet, climate control airconditioning and heating, T.V. C.D. D.V.D. Fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. We are close to all North and North West tourist attractions, and only five minutes from the quality Restaurants, Cafes, and shops of Ulverstone and Penguin. Penguin Market is the largest undercover market in the North of Tasmania and is only a short 5 minute ride away around the beautiful winding scenic coastal road. We are one and a quarter hours drive from Launceston and only 15mins from Devonport ferries and airport, and 20 minutes from Burnie, which makes us very convenient for arrivals and departures to the island. | Getting There |
From Launceston and Devonport. Take Bass Hwy to Burnie. Turn off before Burnie at Ulverstone. In Ulverstone town centre cross over bridge and Leven river, (opposite McDonalds) into Hobbs Pde. Turn right at Queens Street this becomes Penguin Rd. We are situated at no. 141 Penguin Road Ulverstone. From Burnie take the Bass Hwy to Ulverstone and then follow directions as above. |
