Geelong is a City by the Bay and Victoria’s leading Regional City. It has a population of more than 210,00 people. Surrounded by the waters of Corio Bay and the Barwon River it is a modern city that has kept its fine historic buildings. With a temperate climate our region enjoys very warm summers, sunny springs, colorful autumns and mild winters. It’s a great place to stay, live and work. Using Geelong as a base to explore the region is a fantastic idea. Whether you travel by car, bicycle, train, bus or air you’ll find getting around Geelong and the Region is easy. Geelong is less than an hour from Melbourne and 30 minutes by car from some fabulous beaches and coastal scenery. It’s a great place to stay while you discover the Great Ocean road and Bays and Peninsulas. While staying in Geelong discover our Region; Explore the Great Ocean Road, the Otway Ranges and their roaring waterfalls. Bush walk through the Brisbane Ranges and You Yangs. Discover the Bays and Peninsulas and take a trip on the ferry from Queenscliff to Sorento. Visit the Surf shops at Torquay or surf at Bells Beach.
