| Getting There |
From Christchurch International Airport drive down Memorial Avenue, which merges into Fendalton Road. Continue to the end of Fendalton Road turning left onto Harper Avenue. Continue along Harper Avenue which then merges into Bealey Avenue, merge into the most right hand lane and turn right into Manchester Street until you reach Worchester Street which takes you to the heart of the Cathedral Square, The Heritage Christchurch is located on your left, the East side of the square behind the Cathedral. Approximately 15 km's, or 20 minutes from the Airport, and NZ$40 to NZ$50 taxi fare. |

Snow skiing is within an hour's drive (during Winter months) Whale watching in Kaikoura (a beautiful two hour drive) Visit the quaint harbour village of Akaroa for a taste of France, or Hanmer Springs with their famous mineral pools - both only 60 to 90 minutes from Christchurch. |
