Comfort Inn and Suites Sombrero, established in 1977, is a family operated property, which takes pride in making its customers feel special from the moment they arrive. Our staff are trained to assist you with any enquiry that would make your stay more comfortable. Comfort Inn and Suites Sombrero is located 5kms north of the GPO, we are a short drive, taxi or bus ride from the city. We are also located a few kilometers from the Levels campus. Our location is handy for people who need access to the northern areas of Adelaide. Comfort Inn and Suites Sombrero is rated by the RAA as a four star establishment. We have also undergone a lengthy and stringent process, successfully meeting the criteria to become recognised by the Australian Tourism Accreditation Association. We have a fully licensed restaurant, which has a changeable menu and enables us to bring to you fresh foods that are compatible with the seasons. Even if you choose to eat in we can do room service. We also offer cooked breakfast in our restaurant every day of the week. A short walk across from reception, we have a sauna, heated spa and swimming pool which is semi enclosed to enable you to enjoy it any season. Our suites are designed to make you feel comfortable, they have queen size beds, ensuites, airconditioning/heating, direct dial telephones, data facilities and colour televisions. We have fully furnished 1, 2 or 3 bedroom Townhouse Apartments. They have a fully equipped kitchen with dining room and separate lounge. All our apartments have ducted airconditioning, their own laundry facilities, it's like a home away from home. Parking is not a problem as we have a large on site car park available which has security gates with secure access. We are located 6kms out of the city and in walking distance to a regional shopping precinct. We are on direct route by public transport to the city. Only 5kms north of Adelaide CBD we are located on the corner of Main North and Regency Roads - close to Technology Park, Parafield Airport, Mallala Raceway, RAAF Base Edinburgh, Globe Derby, Gepps Cross, Salisbury, Elizabeth, Port Adelaide, Wingfield, North Eastern suburbs and even the Barossa Valley region which is only 45 mins away. | Getting There |
By Car - we are located on corner of Main North and Regency roads. Travelling from the north we are located on the right ,just before Regency Road. Travelling from the city we are located on the left, just after Regency Road. Entry is via Vaughan Street. By Plane - It takes about 20 - 30 mins to get to us from the airport , a Taxi will cost approx $25.00. The most direct route is.. when you leave the airport turn right onto Henley Beach Road [at the T-junction]then turn left onto South road ,then turn right onto Adam street[1st street past the bridge],then follow this road which becomes Park Terrace, and then turn left onto Main North road and we are at number 288-290.Alternativey you can come through the city via Henly beach rd,left onto King Willam st, which becomes Oconnel st, then via right onto Main North road and follow it to 288-290.Please note this way may take longer, due to traffic.by bus take the 222 it is a diecrt route from King William st, get off at stop 17. |

The property is located approx 6kms north of the centre of Adelaide and on a major bus route. Mawson Lakes is approx 6km north and Regency Park is 5 to 10 minutes by car . We are conveniently located near The Pines hockey ground and the Adelaide Velodrome. The Sombrero is within walking distance to a large suburban shopping precinct which has a Target, Woolworths, Coles and over 70 specialty shops and a good variety of restaraunts and fast food outlets. Our location allows for easy access to other industrial areas including Port Adelaide |
