Sandy Hollow Tourist Park is a tranquil and picturesque park set in over 20 acres of gardens and bush in the Upper Hunter. We are central to the wineries of the Upper Hunter & adjacent to both the Wollemi and Goulburn River National Parks. Recently listed on Sydney Morning Herald as one of the best scenic drives in the country - Bylong Valley Way is just around the corner. Famous Widden Valley and Baerami Creek is only 10 minutes away.

Our motel rooms are new and very smart with full cooking facilities and free wi-fi.

Our cottages are modern and well-appointed with fantastic hill views. They are fully self-contained, air conditioned, with LCD TVs,DVD players, full kitchens, electric blankets and private sundecks with BBQs.

To enhance your holiday enjoyment, we have a large outdoor swimming pool with children's wading pool, fully enclosed trampoline, playground, DVD hire, and a wealth of outdoor space to keep you occupied if you so desire.

Surrounded by national parks, it is a wonderful and peaceful place for family and friends gathering, ideal stopover for bush walking or biking activities or exploring aboriginal culture & history in the area, or wandering around numerous wineries surrounded, you can do so much more here .....

Getting There From Sydney
Via F3 Freeway or Pacific Hwy towards Newcastle, turnoff at signs for Cessnock, at Cessnock follow signs for Branxston, at Branxston, take the New England Hwy west signposted to Singleton. About 7 km before Singleton is the Golden Hwy turnoff on the left signposted to Denman. This will lead you to Sandy Hollow. Travel time approx 3 hours.

Via Putty Rd- from Windsor, through Putty and Bulga, then turn left on to the Wallaby Scrub Rd to Warkworth. At Warkworth, turn left on to the Golden Hwy. This will lead you to Sandy Hollow. Travel time approx 3 hours.

From Newcastle
Take New England Hwy towards Singleton. About 7 km before Singleton is the Golden Hwy turnoff on the left signposted to Denman. This will lead you to Sandy Hollow. Travel time approx 2 hours.

From Dubbo
Take the Golden Highway east towards Newcastle. This will lead you to Sandy Hollow. Travel time approx 3-3.5 hours.

From New England Highway
From the North - At Muswellbrook take the turnoff signposted Sandy Hollow. It is a 25 min drive from Muswellbrook to Sandy Hollow.
From the South - About 7 km before Singleton is the Golden Hwy turnoff on the left signposted to Denman. This will lead you to Sandy Hollow.
Parking There is ample car parking.
Things To Do The park is centrally located to the Upper Hunter wineries including Cruickshank, Two Rivers, Yarraman and James Estate. The country towns of Denman and Merriwa are nearby. If it's the outdoors you're after, there are numerous cycling trails, scenic drives, bush walks, horse studs to visit, golf courses, Bicentennial National Trail, bird watching, horse racing, fishing and of course explore the Goulburn River and Wollemi National Parks.
