Bealey's Hotel, offers an exceptional room rate, and is complimented by New Zealands most popular Kiwi themed Ale House & Restaurant.A reason to stay is the 66 (recently refurbished)room accommodation complex. Top floors offer views of the Southern Alps, and central city. The complex is set amongst lawns, native ferns and flaxes. Set well back from the road, each room has either a balcony or verandah. Bealey's offers their guests all the usual amenities and services of a modern hotel, including 24 hour reception, laundry, SKY TV etc. However, family owned, Bealey's Hotel prides its self on treating the traveller, as a guest, making their stay all the more memorable- because of the informal, relaxed atomosphere. Bealey's Hotel, is partly owned by legendary ex All Black Captain, Tane Norton. Two blocks away, on the Avon River a must see attraction is the Firemens Memorial dedicated to the New York Firemen who gave their lives in 9/11. The steel structure is from one of the twin towers, and fell 122 floors. From here follow the river to Victoria Square. |
