Getting There Parkside Motel is located at 42 Gladstone Road Richmond (State Highway 6, 15 minutes south of Nelson and 10 minutes from Nelson Airport. Gladstone Road (SH6) is the main highway leading south from Nelson to Murchison, the West Coast and Lewis Pass. The motel is close to the turnoff to Motueka and beyond to Golden Bays and Farewell Spit.
Parking Off street park available free for units. Some rooms have access to undercover parking.
Things To Do Within walking distance of Waimea Estate and Fossil Ridge Vineyards and Richmond's Central Business District cafes cafe's, restaurants and Mall.

Within 10 minutes drive visit craft shops and Hoglunds Art Glass where you can view glass art being hand blown.

Nelson City is only 15 min away. A visit the Saturday morning market is a must do.

Kahaurangi, Abel Tasman National Parks and the Nelson Lakes district are all within comfortable driving distances.

Visit to enjoy the region's beautiful and safe swimming beach's, craft galleries and vineyards that can be found close to the Motel.

The district offers an endless variety of walking tracks, from beach to sub-alpine and the Motel is surrounded by bike trails which cater for all levels of expertise.

For the thrill seeker activities ranging from horse trekking,four wheel off road motor bikes to guided whitewater kayaking and rafting are available .
