Welcome to the only property in Bright to be awarded AAA Tourism's Green Star endorsement... this means you can be confident our property operates within a sound environmental policy focusing on energy efficiency, waste minimisation and water management. Bright is surrounded by a pristine natural environment and we feel it is essential to operate our accommodation business with minimal effect on our precious surrounding environment. Our property offers 24 spacious units along with a solar heated pool & spa, sauna, undercover BBQ area, tennis court, guest laundry & skiers drying room. You may choose to enjoy a continental breakfast or a delicious cooked breakfast from our room service menu along with the papers and a latte. In room features include FREE AUSTAR TV, seating area, electric blankets, air-conditioning & climate control heating, tea & coffee making facilities with FRESH MILK, crisp white sheets & big fluffy towels, toaster, hairdryer, guests amenities, iron & ironing board. We welcome coach and group bookings, consider celebrating your next special occasion or club weekend away with us. We are surrounded by green fields and towering hills on the edge of the Ovens River, definitely the most peaceful location in Bright. When driving into Bright along the Great Alpine Road from Myrtleford, Ovens Valley Motor Inn is the first motel at the entrance to town! Keep an eye out for the 'Welcome to Bright' sign and turn left into Ashwood Avenue... |

| Things To Do |
Visit Mt Buffalo, one of Australia's oldest and most spectacular National Parks. Stroll through the gardens and lavender farm at Harrietville and even try your luck fishing at the local trout farm. Enjoy Wandiligong, a tiny National Trust village and get lost in the maze. The pretty township of Mt Beauty and the Kiewa Valley is a great day trip. Experience the agricultural hub which is Myrtlford consisting of hops, tobacco and timber or get lost in time in the historic gold mining town of Beechworth. Also ask us about the many food and wine destinations of the Alpine Valleys. The Canyon Walk along the Ovens River is located behind the property and the Rail Trail is great for a walk or ride and is located outside our front gate! The Ovens Valley area also offers fishing, bushwalking, mountain biking, skiing, horse riding, paragliding, abseiling, rafting, wineries, berry farms, cheese factory, restaurants, cafes and lot's of local produce. |
