Phoenix Apartments are located in central Lorne just opposite the beach, within easy walking distance to all shops and restaurants. The apartments surround a fully licensed garden courtyard which provides protection from street noise and traffic. All apartments feature polished wooden floors, spacious modern interiors with hand crafted furniture reflecting the owners' love of Greek minimalism. A simple life by the beach. The apartments have well appointed fully equipped stainless steel kitchens with fridge/freezer, oven and cooktop, microwave and complimentary provisions for cooking breakfast ie free-range eggs, bread, milk, ground coffee, tea, fruit, muesli, jams etc. The pantry contains basics such as olive oil, vinegar and condiments.
All accommodation is fully self-contained with linen and towels provided and all rooms have television and Dvd player.
Off street parking spaces are provided at the rear of the apartments and are accessible from Argyle Lane. Laundry facilities are available for guests use and a newspaper is delivered to the apartment in the morning.
Phoenix Apartments offers two different styles of accommodation:
Studio apartments which feature a combined living/ sleeping area with Queen size bed, a separate bathroom with walk-in shower and fully equipped kitchen. The studios have a large glass sliding panel which opens the living area onto a private patio.
Large apartments which feature a balcony with ocean views( 2 apartments have full views 2 apartments have partial views ,top level cant be guaranteed unless you contact the property before booking , spacious living area, separate bedroom with Queen size bed, bathroom with deep bath and fully equipped kitchen. Two of these apartments have an extra double bed with folds from a cupboard in the living room to accommodate extra guests or children if necessary.

Getting There Phoenix Apartments is situated on the main street of Lorne.By car or bus, guests will come to Lorne, along the Great Ocean Road, either from Geelong or from Warrnambool via Apollo Bay.The bus stop is directly in front of the apartments.Car Parking -Turn right at the BP service station onto Grove Road -Take your first right onto Smith Street -Take your first right again down Argyle Lane.
Parking Off street car parking is provided at the rear of Phoenix Apartments, accessed from Argyle Lane.
Turn right off Mountjoy Parade (Main St)at the BP service station onto Grove Rd. Take your first right onto Smith St .Take your first right again down Argyle Lane . Reception is down the hallway .
Things To Do Lorne is a major holiday destination only two hours drive from Melbourne.It is situated on the Great Ocean Road and is surrounded by the Otways rainforest.
The Lorne beach is popular year round, being a safe swimming beach for families, with small waves for body surfers and occasionally some larger surf for the more adventurous.The beach stretches uninterrupted for some five kilometres and provides a lovely stretch of sand for walking, jogging and for yoga in the summer.
In the surrounding forest, visitors will find well maintained walking tracks, picnic grounds, waterfalls and native animals.
Lorne's main shopping strip is a medley of cafes, restaurants, clothing and book shops. The cinema provides year round entertainment with up-to-date movies in a classic art-deco atmosphere, showing up to four different movies a day.
